Job Summary:
The Accounting and Payroll Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our accounting+ Payroll department. This individual will assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and provide support to the accounting + payroll team to help maintain efficiency and organization If you are organized, professional, and eager to contribute to a thriving team, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and categorizing business income and expenses. Commission reconciliation Assist with day-to-day administrative duties for the accounting department. Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents. Maintain organized files and records, both digital and physical. Answer phones and direct client inquiries to the appropriate team member. Schedule and coordinate meetings or appointments as needed. Support the preparation of reports, statements, and other documentation. Handle incoming and outgoing mail for the department. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred). Previous administrative or office support experience in accounting or finance environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Intuit QuickBooks. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. Strong sense of confidentiality and integrity. Must have a positive attitude.
