GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Payroll & Personnel Coordinator manages payroll processing, deductions, personnel recordkeeping, and employee safety programs. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, accuracy in pay, and support for employee health and welfare programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, process, and distribute payroll accurately and on time. Maintain up-to-date personnel files and ensure regulatory compliance. Administer employee benefits, garnishments, workers' compensation, unemployment, COBRA, and FMLA documentation. Maintain OSHA logs, employee injury records, and safety committee documentation. Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee communications as needed. Assist Bookkeeper with payroll-related financial reports and audits. Skills & Competencies Knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and HR compliance requirements. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years payroll or HR experience.
Preferred:
Experience in long-term care or healthcare payroll operations.
