Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate processing of payroll for our organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will support seamless payroll operations, while your knowledge of labor law and tax regulations will guarantee legal compliance. Duties Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, and other supported payroll platforms Ensure timely and accurate data entry related to employee hours, wages, benefits, deductions, and taxes Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for payroll transactions Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and security Support benefits administration activities including enrollments, changes, and terminations Conduct regular audits of payroll records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in payroll management or related accounting roles within corporate or non-profit environments Strong proficiency with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft or Ceridian Solid understanding of employment law, tax law, labor law compliance, and financial concepts related to payroll processing Skilled in using spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (QuickBooks), and HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) platforms Knowledge of time & attendance systems and technical support for payroll systems is highly desirable Ability to perform detailed analysis, account reconciliation, journal entries, and double-entry bookkeeping Excellent data entry skills including 10-key typing with high accuracy Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information securely Join us in delivering precise payroll services that empower our organization's success!
