$22.00 - $23.50/hr
Work Hours:
M-F 8am-5pm
Education:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered. This is an ITAR facility. Candidates must be compliant with
DOD/ITAR
requirements and be US citizens or nationals. CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking a Payroll Coordinator I to support payroll and timekeeping operations during a plant start-up initiative in Saginaw, MI. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel and Kronos experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee time and attendance records in Kronos Verify timesheets and resolve payroll discrepancies Coordinate with HR, payroll operations, and management teams Generate payroll and attendance reports, including overtime tracking Ensure compliance with payroll procedures and applicable labor laws Support weekly payroll approval processes and deadlines Maintain confidential payroll documentation and records
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with payroll or timekeeping systems, preferably Kronos/UKG Workforce Central Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Tech-savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Manufacturing or plant environment experience is a plus Why Join CTG?
