Job Description

Job Summary:
The Bookkeeping & Payroll Specialist will be responsible for bookkeeping, payroll processing, and assisting with tax return preparation for small businesses and individuals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys solving problems, and wants to start or grow their accounting career.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations Work collaboratively with clients to gather financial data Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting required, Bachelors degree preferred No experience necessary, 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
