Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, a high level of confidentiality, and experience managing payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for all employeesMaintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changesEnsure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and payroll tax regulationsCalculate and process bonuses, commissions, and deductions (benefits, garnishments, etc.)Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPrepare and submit payroll tax filings and reportsRespond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductionsCollaborate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate data flowAssist with audits and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)
