Payroll Administrator Southern Farm Bureau Casualty - 4.1 Ridgeland, MS Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Records maintenance Payroll tax Payroll deduction management Mid-level Accounting data entry Data entry Paycheck issuance Payroll reconciliation Associate's degree Accounting error correction Identifying tax deductions Payroll record maintenance Full Job Description Essential Functions Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and payroll deductions to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records. Prepare computer input forms, enter data into computer files, or compute wages and deductions and post to payroll records. Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll. Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions and insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records. Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions. Reconcile all payroll related ledger accounts. Prepare all payroll related government reports. Keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages. Additional Responsibilities Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
