Description Payroll Coordinator I Location:

Department:
Finance Adecco is hiring a Payroll Coordinator I for a temporary maternity leave coverage role in Newington, NH. This is a great opportunity for candidates with payroll or administrative experience who are detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with payroll processing and data entry
  • Review employee payroll records, pay changes, new hires, and terminations
  • Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and follow up on timecard approvals
  • Process staffing agency labor reports
  • Maintain payroll records and generate reports
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries
  • Support payroll deductions, 401(k) reporting, employment verifications, and workers' compensation reporting
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of payroll, administrative, or related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities
  • Payroll system experience is a plus
