A Family, School, or General Social Worker provides specialized assistance to vulnerable families and children. Intervenes in crisis situations; evaluates individual and family needs, helps clients get access to health care, mental health care or social services such as housing assistance. Advocates for clients and provides follow up visits. May work with teachers, parents and school administrators to help students improve academically and deal with social issues such as bullying.

Job Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinate Social Worker schedules and ensure appropriate coverage across locations. Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Social Workers. Coordinate Social Work referrals and delegate them appropriately. ❤️ Provide direct client support, including education, referrals, and brief case management. Lead monthly Social Work team meetings. Help troubleshoot patient concerns and escalations in partnership with the Director. Participate in departmental projects, goals, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Help identify and implement workflow improvements. Maintain timely, professional case documentation and help ensure documentation standards are met across the team. Stay current with EMR workflows and changes affecting the Social Work department. Represent and actively support the Social Work department throughout the organization. Travel between Greater Seacoast Health clinical locations as needed. ✅ What We're Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human services field Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality in all circumstances Strong computer literacy Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities ❤️ A client- and community-service mindset Ability to effectively lead groups and team meetings Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to both internal and external needs Preferred Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred but not required . We're interested in candidates who have the ability to support, organize, communicate, and lead effectively , even if their current title doesn't include "Supervisor" or "Manager."
