Job Title:
Payroll Coordinator Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our client to support accurate and timely payroll operations while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in maintaining employee trust by delivering precise compensation processing and responsive support. The Payroll Coordinator will collaborate with multiple departments and remote locations to manage payroll activities and reporting. This is a direct hire opportunity based onsite in Jersey City, NJ.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours Key Responsibilities of the
Payroll Coordinator:
Oversee end to end payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and within established timelines Review and audit employee time data, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with field locations to maintain payroll accuracy Manage employee updates including direct deposit changes, bonuses, commissions, and required deductions in accordance with regulations Respond to employee and leadership inquiries, complete verifications, and support reporting needs through Excel and internal systems Support additional payroll related functions such as year end reporting, funding requests, manual check processing, and driver payment activities Qualifications and Skills for the
Payroll Coordinator:
A bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable professional experience with at least two years in payroll processing Hands on experience with ADP systems is required, along with proficiency in Excel for reporting and analysis Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly and accurately Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering excellent employee support Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and perform effectively in a fast paced environment Why Join Us?
