Main Responsibilities:
- + Researching transaction tax issues, investigating employee tax inquires and responding with appropriate actions + Interpreting and complying with state, local, and international statutes, regulations, and legislation + Preparing for, and assisting with, internal and external tax audits + Preparing and/or reviewing indirect tax filings.
- About You
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in accounting or equivalent experience. + 2+ years payroll accounting/tax experience.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Extensive experience with Payroll tax processing and Federal, State and Local tax laws. + Strong experience with Payroll tax preparation software (ADP/Smart Compliance). + Ability to communicate with Federal, State and Local taxing authorities. + High level of technical skills - Advanced MS Excel required. + Solid reconciliation and analytical skills. + Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. + Strong communication skills - both oral and written. + Team-player, customer-centric attitude.- Why Choose Us
