Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll Specialist located in Southern New Jersey. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing garnishments, handling payroll taxes, and providing payroll services. The role involves ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining accurate payroll records, and resolving payroll discrepancies. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will be responsible for responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Treasurer Salary Range:
$51,000 - $65,000 Qualifications 2-3 years' experience in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Taxes Proficiency in providing Payroll Services Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Proficient in payroll software, preferably Edmunds, and Microsoft Office Suites Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in municipal or public sector payroll is a plus Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Requirements 2-3 years' experience in payroll administration and payroll processing Must have proficient experience in full cycle payroll processing Must be a New Jersey resident The Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
