Richard E. Pierson Construction is a heavy highway and heavy civil construction contractor. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing and related administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Process multi-state, multi-rate payrolls and related tax filings Manage executive payroll, insurance deductions, and related reporting Coordinate drug testing and pre-employment screening Work closely with the Safety Department to coordinate employee compliance and documentation Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations Responsible for making sure new hires have benefits, the payroll file gets updated with the deduction and then reconciliation at month end of the insurance billings. Union and construction payroll experience is a strong plus Must be proficient with learning new software and have intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
