$52,000

  • 60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparing, verifying and entering data for payroll payments, special payments, such as retroactive salary adjustments, summer school, compensation bonus payments, contributions, and special withholdings, processes checks and/or direct deposits, including bank transit and account numbers; contacts financial institutions to resolve problems or discrepancies pertaining to direct deposit, maintain employee payroll records, salary notices, W2 form processing, grant paperwork • Select aspects of personnel including but not limited to: maintain records of employment status and produces related correspondence for employees as needed • Management of district benefit enrollment and maintenance of the systems • Manages the State Employees' Retirement System and the Teacher Retirement System • End of calendar and fiscal year responsibilities • Preparing, verifying and entering data • Answer with patience and respect employees' inquiries pertaining to payroll calculations, checks, payroll policies and procedures and related matters as well as salary verification for financial institutions • Be flexible and adjust job duties based on needs, performs other required related work • Be respectful of the confidential nature of this position
QUALIFICATIONS

A. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, including or supplemented by a course in typing and three (3) years of office clerical experience.

NOTE:

Additional office clerical experience, beyond the three (3) year requirement, may be substituted for high school graduation on a year for year basis; and completion of a post-high school secretarial course, of at least one (1) year duration, may be substituted for one (1) year of the required office clerical experience.

NOTE:

Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full time experience requirements.

Pay:

$52,000.00
