Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Admin to support high-volume payroll operations (600+ employees, bi-weekly) in a fast-paced nonprofit healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, deductions, and adjustments Review onboarding payroll/tax documentation for accuracy and compliance Ensure adherence to payroll policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality of payroll records Post payroll entries to the general ledger Prepare and maintain payroll reports (OT reports, 941 reconciliations) Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Support payroll audits and reporting needs Maintain organized records, files, and schedules

Requirements:

6+ months of payroll, data entry, or accounting experience Understanding of payroll laws and tax regulations Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Experience with payroll systems (Paypro preferred) Strong attention to detail and communication skills Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Bilingual Spanish (verbal) preferred for employee support
