Job Description

Minutemen is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to oversee the organization's payroll functions at a client in Macedonia, OH. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local government regulations. Pay is $18-$21 per hour. This is a part time position of 16 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and on schedule Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems Timely processing of payroll updates such as new hires, changes to pay, and terminations. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations Experience with UKG Ready Knowledge of balancing, internal control and payroll taxes Maintain payroll records and employee information Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries Assist with payroll reporting and related administrative tasks Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors

16 hours per week
Monday:
Half-day Tuesday:
8-hour shift
Wednesday:
Half-day Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or other related field.
Requirements:
2-5 years of related experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office and payroll software.
