Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Timekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee accurate tracking of employee work hours, manage payroll data, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will help maintain seamless payroll processing and uphold the integrity of confidential information. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operational efficiency while supporting our team's success through precise time management and recordkeeping. Duties Monitor and record employee clock-in and clock-out times using advanced time & attendance systems such as Kronos, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft. Process payroll data accurately within payroll systems like Workday, Paychex, or ADP, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax laws. Reconcile timesheets with payroll records, perform account reconciliations, and prepare journal entries for financial accuracy. Maintain detailed records of hours worked, overtime, leave balances, and absences while safeguarding confidential employee information. Ensure adherence to employment & labor law regulations by updating policies related to payroll tax, labor law compliance, and employee classification. Support general ledger accounting activities by analyzing payroll data, managing double entry bookkeeping entries, and ensuring accurate debits & credits. Collaborate with HRIS teams to optimize payroll processing workflows and improve data entry accuracy across HR systems. Qualifications Proven experience in payroll management, accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts and payroll processing procedures. Hands-on experience with payroll software such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro or Ceridian is highly preferred. Knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks or similar platforms for financial recordkeeping. Familiarity with employment & labor law, tax law, and labor law compliance requirements impacting payroll operations. Strong analysis skills with the ability to perform account reconciliation and analyze financial data effectively. Excellent attention to detail in data entry and maintaining accurate records within complex HRIS or payroll systems. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of integrity and professionalism. Pay:
