Payroll Administrator

Job Description

Crown Staffing is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team! This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and a high volume of information. In this role, you'll help manage weekly payroll, client billing, and accounts receivable for multiple clients and 500+ associates. We're looking for someone who doesn't just enter information but takes the time to review the details, catch discrepancies, ask questions, and follow through to get issues resolved. What You'll Do Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for 500+ associates Review timesheets, hours, pay rates, overtime, deductions, and adjustments Research and resolve payroll discrepancies Communicate with clients, associates, Account Managers, and internal teams Prepare and send weekly client invoices Review billing rates, hours, and invoice details for accuracy Process billing corrections, credits, and adjustments Monitor accounts receivable and outstanding client balances Follow up with clients regarding past-due invoices and payments Apply and reconcile payments Maintain accurate payroll, billing, and AR records Assist with reporting and other administrative tasks as needed Handle confidential employee and financial information appropriately Take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution What We're Looking For Previous payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or staffing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and Excel Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to recognize when something doesn't look right and investigate Dependable and able to meet strict weekly deadlines Strong sense of urgency and follow-through Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality Staffing industry experience and Avionté experience are a plus What Success Looks Like The right person will help ensure payroll and billing are accurate, timely, and completed with minimal errors . You should be someone who pays attention to the details, speaks up when something doesn't look right, and takes ownership of getting problems resolved.
Pay:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
