Salary Range- $52,000-$62,000 A growing company in the Dayton area is looking for a Payroll Specialist to help support accurate and timely payroll processing. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a role where accuracy and confidentiality are important. The Payroll Specialist will assist with processing payroll, reviewing employee time records, maintaining payroll information, and helping ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll Review timecards, hours, deductions, and payroll changes Maintain employee payroll records Assist with new hire payroll setup and employee updates Respond to payroll-related questions from employees Help ensure payroll information is accurate and confidential Assist with payroll reports and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred Experience with payroll software or HRIS systems is a plus Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality Strong communication and organizational skills
