+ Process weekly, biweekly, and/or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.

+ Review and audit payroll data, including timecards, earnings, deductions, taxes, and direct deposits.

+ Maintain employee payroll records and ensure accurate system updates.

+ Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, taxes, and payroll procedures.

+ Process new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and other payroll-related updates.

+ Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities.

+ Prepare payroll-related reports for management and accounting teams.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

+ Assist with payroll tax reporting and W-2 processing.

+ Collaborate with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and financial records.

+ Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies. Requirements Qualifications + 2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred.

+ Experience working with payroll software and HRIS systems.

+ Strong understanding of payroll practices, taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

+ Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

+ Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

+ Effective communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.

+ Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, human resources, or benefits administration is a plus.
