Job Description
Regional services firm seeks a Payroll Administrator who can process union and non-union payroll for 80+ employees on a bi-weekly basis. In this role, you will process high volume payroll, handle payroll records, ensure compliance with tax regulations, calculate and deduct tax withholdings/benefits/garnishments, reconcile payroll discrepancies and investigate errors, review and approve timecards, manage contracts, process salary adjustments, assist with time-off, and prepare financial reports. This Payroll Administrator must have a high attention to detail, possession excellent knowledge of payroll, wage and tax laws, and have the ability to multi-task time sensitive request. - Enter and process employee payroll data
- Provide administrative support
- Coordinate with Human Resources as needed
- Assist with payroll audit
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies
- Enter new clients in payroll system
- Correspond with clients on payroll process improvements
- Prepare periodic payroll reports The ideal Payroll Administrator will have a Bachelors degree preferably. Other requirements for the Payroll Administrator role include and are not limited to:
- 2+ years of union and non-union payroll experience
- Foundation software experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
