The Junior Accountant / Payroll Clerk supports the Accounting department with payroll processing, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to meet deadlines Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and timely, including employee changes, deductions, and related payroll records Prepare routine weekly, monthly, and annual financial and management reports Assist with payroll reporting and reconciliations Complete daily bank reconciliations and deposits Reconcile credit card transactions and cash deposits Assist with month-end closing and account reconciliations Assist with annual audits, physical inventory, and other accounting projects Assist with other accounting functions as part of cross-training Maintain accurate and confidential accounting and payroll records Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred 1-2 years of payroll and/or accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as part of a team Willingness to learn and cross-train in various accounting functions Experience with Global Shop Solutions is a plus Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
