Job Description

Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Location:
Erie or York, PA Pay:
$27-$30/hour
Job Type:
Full-Time A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to support payroll and benefits administration across multiple facilities. This position will work closely with HR leadership, employees, benefit providers, and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Responsibilities:
Process biweekly payroll and review timekeeping, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments. Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other employee benefits. Process benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events, and terminations. Manage benefit deductions and reconcile payroll records with carrier and billing information. Administer 401(k) enrollments, contributions, deductions, and reconciliations. Serve as a primary contact for employee payroll and benefits questions. Work with HR, benefit carriers, brokers, retirement providers, and payroll vendors. Maintain accurate records and strict confidentiality of employee and compensation information. Assist with open enrollment, audits, reporting, and HR process improvements.
Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll, benefits, HRIS, or related HR administration experience. Experience processing or supporting payroll and administering employee benefits. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Experience reconciling information across multiple systems. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities. Paycor or comparable payroll/HCM experience preferred. 401(k) administration experience preferred. Associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
