The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and the reporting function within the platform, is committed to providing an excellent service delivery model, has a strong record of excellence in providing high quality customer advice, has well-honed independent judgment and critical thinking skills, and is self-motivated with values of ownership and accountability. The candidate can communicate with all levels in the organization, from line employees to CEO staff members, and has experience working in fast-moving environments where priorities can shift with little notice. ## What you'll do
- Prepare and process multi-state payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Review and validate payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
- Execute off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and manual payments when required.
- Coordinate payroll funding and general ledger postings.
- Perform regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrections.
- Maintain compliance with wage and hour regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external agencies during audits or inquiries.
- Monitor, research, and interpret regulatory changes affecting payroll.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for HR, Finance, and leadership.
- Support year-end processes including W-2 review, tax reconciliations, and reporting. ## Who we're looking for
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- 5-7 years of payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-state environment.
- Experienced with ESPP, RSUs, NQs for large publicly traded companies.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, wage and hour laws, and tax regulations.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. ## Preferred qualifications
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC certification.
- Experience with HRIS integrations and payroll interfaces.
