Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 850 employees across the U.S. and Canada. Administer multi-state U.S. payroll and Canadian payroll while ensuring compliance with applicable payroll regulations. Manage payroll-related onboarding activities, including I-9s, W-4s, direct deposit setup, tax forms, and employee record maintenance. Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation adjustments, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and deductions. Reconcile payroll data, resolve payroll discrepancies, and respond to employee payroll inquiries. Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy across payroll and HRIS systems. Partner with HR, Finance, and Accounting to support payroll reporting, compliance, audits, and process improvements.
Requirements:
4+ years of payroll experience with responsibility for high-volume payroll processing. Experience independently processing payroll for 500+ employees. Hands-on experience processing both multi-state U.S. payroll and Canadian payroll. Experience managing payroll onboarding, including I-9s, W-4s, direct deposit enrollment, tax forms, and related new hire documentation. Experience using multiple payroll and HRIS platforms. Paylocity experience is a plus. Strong understanding of payroll compliance, payroll taxes, and applicable federal, state, and provincial regulations. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Experience supporting HRIS implementations, benefits administration, payroll tax compliance, or India payroll processing is a plus, but not required.
