Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Clerk to join our friendly team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and tax regulations. We are open to training the right candidate, no experience necessary. QuickBooks knowledge is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment where your skills in payroll management, data entry, and financial concepts will make a meaningful impact. This is a part-time position and year round. Once trained, you will be able to work from home if you want to. We will provide a computer and printer. Responsibilities Process payroll using QuickBooks, using bank websites to send payrolls for various businesses. Ensure accurate data entry of employee hours, wages, deductions, benefits administration, and tax information. Maintain compliance with employment and labor law regulations by staying current on updates to tax law and labor standards. Handle confidential information with integrity, ensuring privacy and security of employee data at all times. Be on time, be respectful of others in the office. Skills Ability to perform detailed data entry with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills. Understanding of time & attendance systems and payroll processing workflows. Ability to get along with others and take directions. Willingness to learn new skills as we grow.
