Responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll for full time, part time, salaried and hourly employees Use payroll, timekeeping, onboarding and ticket system software to input, maintain, research, and retrieve payroll related information Ensure proper payment of wages and salaries via the UKG payroll system Manually or via payroll software, calculate payroll adjustments Perform data entry as required Print and disburse paper checks Gather, sort and disburse mail Create off cycle payrolls, manual checks, ACH requests, adjusted payroll transactions, stop payments, bank reversals, and other transactions as required Support other members of the payroll team as needed Within the expected time limit, research and resolve payroll related concerns and questions from employees and management Perform other tasks, projects and duties as assigned Qualifications HealthPRO Heritage is a multi-company environment operating in the physical therapy space with full time, part time and PRN employees, nationwide. As a Payroll Coordinator you will be responsible for the processing of end to end payroll for your assigned pay group while complying with federal, state and local legislation and adhering to the guidelines of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)and other employment laws. The ideal candidate must have the ability to process an accurate and timely payroll while working with limited supervision and under a strict time line. The Payroll Coordinator works under the general direction of the Director of Payroll. This is a hybrid position, the person in this role must live within driving distance of the Greenville, SC office and will be expected to work onsite two days a week. Three years or more of proven experience as a payroll processor Strong familiarity of MS Office, with a minimum of intermediate skills in MS Excel Outstanding time management skills with great attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Typically, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or relevant field or the equivalent of on the job experience The ability to process payroll for a 2000 count or larger labor force Proficient with payroll and timekeeping software, UKG experience is a plus Basic understanding of garnishments and payroll taxation
