Job Description:
- Assist in processing the full payroll cycle for all entities including data input, transmission, auditing, reporting, balancing, and reconciliation.
- Prepare regular reports such as quarterly 401k matching, benefit billing summaries, and overtime
- Manage state-specific tax/insurance reporting and billing.
- Partner with internal Tax and Accounting departments for payroll account and G/L reconciliations, and regular reporting
- Provide information to third-parties including vendors and audit teams
- Answer manager and employee questions, and resolve payroll issues
- Maintain employee payroll files
Requirements Job Requirements:
- Experience processing full-cycle payroll from data entry through final review and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of payroll practices for employee populations ranging from approximately 101 to 500 employees.
- Familiarity with payroll deductions and garnishment administration.
- Ability to prepare payroll reports and review figures for accuracy and completeness.
- Understanding of payroll tax and compliance requirements, including state-related reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential employee information responsibly.
- Effective communication skills for supporting employees, managers, and cross-functional internal teams.
