Reports to : Executive VP of Human Resources Overall job responsibilities include but are not limited to Full cycle payroll process Provides full admin support for the human resource department Assists with new-hire procedures, creates new employee files and ensures all new hire paperwork is complete and in compliance Assists with pre-employment procedures including but not limited to; ordering background checks, scheduling pre-employment drug screens Ensure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed Assist team members with benefits such as, enrollments, changes, terminations Foster joyful and positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues in a timely manner Be a vital resource to team members Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs as needed Assists with processing of terminations Performs other duties as assigned
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
The Payroll Specialists joyfully aids and facilitates the full cycle payroll and HRIS processes for all business locations (Multi-State). The Payroll Specialists works to ensure team member satisfaction through education of company policies and promotes a joyful, positive work environment. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including full payroll processing, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, facilitating human resource processes and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the human resource department. The Payroll Specialist will help resolve issues that include but are not limited to; benefits, and payroll. relations. Requirements to
Succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years related experience required Paycor experience preferred Highly organized Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Working understanding of human resource procedures Ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent time-management skills Positive and personable demeanor Ability to handle stressful situations Attentive listener Understanding, empathetic and relatable Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability Reliable and personable Must passionately and consistently exemplify
