Job Description

Position Summary Intelvio is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to own the end-to-end payroll function. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all company payroll, administration of wage garnishments, and the full range of payroll administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with hands-on Rippling experience who can operate independently, maintain strict confidentiality, and serve as the go-to subject-matter expert on all things payroll. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Ownership Own and manage the full payroll cycle end-to-end for all employees, ensuring accurate and on-time processing across all pay periods. Administer payroll within Rippling, including new-hire setup, terminations, status changes, pay-rate adjustments, and off-cycle runs. Process and reconcile all earnings, deductions, bonuses, commissions, reimbursements, and PTO/leave accruals. Review and validate timekeeping data, resolving discrepancies with managers and employees prior to each run. Wage Garnishments & Compliance Own the wage garnishment process end-to-end set up, calculate, remit, and track child support orders, tax levies, creditor garnishments, and other court-ordered deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour regulations, including multi-state requirements. Maintain accurate withholding, respond to agency notices, and coordinate timely remittance of taxes and garnishment payments. Support quarter-end and year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation, reconciliations, and audits. Payroll Administration & Support Perform all payroll administrative tasks, including recordkeeping, filing, and maintenance of employee payroll data and documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, resolving questions promptly and professionally. Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, and reconciliations to support the monthly close in partnership with the accounting team. Partner with HR and Benefits to ensure accurate deductions for benefits, retirement contributions, and other withholdings. Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls within the payroll function. Qualifications Required 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including full ownership of the payroll cycle. Direct, hands-on experience administering payroll in Rippling. Demonstrated experience managing wage garnishments and court-ordered deductions. Working knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state payroll tax and wage-and-hour compliance. Strong proficiency with Excel and comfort working across payroll and accounting systems. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Preferred FPC or CPP certification (American Payroll Association). Experience supporting month-end close and partnering with an accounting team. Experience in a high-growth or multi-entity environment. What We Offer Competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience. Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility.
