Ability to support payroll tax-related administrative activities and research
Payroll Tax Specialist Overview:
We are seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist to support payroll tax-related mail management, company registrations, tax notice research, account number maintenance, and other administrative activities
This role will assist with sorting payroll tax-related mail onsite, researching and resolving payroll tax notices, and maintaining accurate state, local, unemployment, and federal tax registration information
The Payroll Tax Specialist will also support company registration activities, research and update account numbers, and handle additional administrative tasks as needed
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, experience with SharePoint and ADP SmartCompliance, and the ability to multitask while managing detailed and analytical work are important for success in this position
The role is based in the Cumberland, Rhode Island office and requires onsite work three days per week, as well as additional onsite work as needed
Job Duties:
Sort payroll tax-related mail onsite and handle other administrative items
Assist with company registrations
Research and resolve payroll tax notices
Research, clean up, and update account numbers
Support state, local, unemployment, and federal tax registrations
Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
