Job Description

Recruiting Solutions is hiring a Payroll Clerk for a company in Florence, SC. This role is ideal for an experienced payroll professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while ensuring accurate payroll processing. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits upon permanent hire.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay:
$21.00 - 25.00/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time -- Monday - Friday Upon permanent hire, employees are eligible for health insurance, paid leave, and retirement benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets Process payroll, including hours worked, leave time, and payroll adjustments Prepare direct deposits, payroll tax payments, and employee deductions Maintain accurate payroll records in compliance with federal and state regulations Enter and update new hires, terminations, and salary changes Assist with accounts payable data entry Answer incoming telephone calls and provide general office support Perform additional administrative tasks as needed Maintain strict confidentiality with employee and payroll information
Requirements:
High school diploma required Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Five (5) or more years of payroll or related accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
