What your future day will look like: Process weekly payroll, validate timesheets, manage payroll adjustments, and ensure timely payroll tax submissions. Oversee certified payroll reporting and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Reconcile employee benefit deductions, ACA reporting data, and 401(k) contributions while researching and resolving discrepancies. Support financial operations by reviewing employee reimbursements, credit card transactions, and general ledger activity. Serve as a resource to employees and departments by communicating payroll policies, procedures, and regulatory updates. Partner with the Controller on accounting activities, reporting, audits, and special projects while serving as a backup resource when needed.

Direct Hire To be a champion in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent accounting and payroll experience 3+ years of payroll, accounting, or finance experience in the construction industry Strong knowledge of payroll processing, payroll taxes, benefits administration, and compliance requirements Experience with certified payroll, garnishments, 401(k) deductions, insurance deductions, and ACA reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sage 100 Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality We know you are more than a resume and understand your next career move needs to be the right fit!
