Payroll Specialist - Rapid City, SD

M.G. Oil Company is searching for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our office team in Rapid City, South Dakota. Required Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field such as Finance or Business. Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must have experience processing payroll. Familiarity with PDI Payroll System is preferred, but not required. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment. Must have great time management and organizational skills. Able to communicate effectively in-person, and via phone/email. Must be able to work on-site in Rapid City, SD. Payroll is responsible for the following: Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters. Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholding's, and deductions. Preparing and issuing earnings statements. Issuing paychecks and managing direct deposits. Filing quarterly taxes. Assisting with year-end audits and running reports. Processing and sending W-2's. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. M.G.
