Job Description

We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented/organized in office Bookkeeper to support our financial operations across two premier HOA resorts and real estate company. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our In-House Accountant and outside auditors to maintain accurate financial records, streamline processes, and support the financial health of our properties and real estate ventures.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccountant Support:
Full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including payroll, audit preparation, and year-end closing processes/assisting the in-house accountant as needed.
Budget Preparation:
Collaborate on the development and tracking of annual operational budgets for both the HOA resorts and the real estate firm.
Monthly Financial Reports:
Help compile, verify, and distribute monthly financial statements, variance reports, and balance sheets.
Banking & Cash Management:
Handle daily banking activities, including deposits, bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow.
Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Process vendor invoices, manage HOA dues collection, and working with the marketing department, handle real estate commission disbursement. Work closely with the C.O.O. in reviewing health benefits for employees (annually). Track enrollments/terminations, maintain weekly insurance deductions, as well as reconciling monthly insurance billings.
QualificationsExperience:
bookkeeping experience, ideally within the property management, HOA, or real estate industries.
Software:
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage/Excel) is a plus but we are willing to thoroughly train the right candidate
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple entity books simultaneously.
Communication:
Exceptional organizational skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with our accountant and resort management teams. It is a great place to work but we are a busy organization with a lot of moving parts. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30. Employer subsidized health insurance after 90 days. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
