Arlington, TX | Full-Time, In Office Kinley Construction is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team at our Arlington headquarters. This role is responsible for weekly payroll for our multi-state workforce and plays an important part in making sure our employees are paid accurately, on time, and in accordance with the requirements of the projects and states where we work. Because we operate in industrial construction, our payroll can be more complex than a traditional office environment. You'll work with multiple states, job and cost coding, certified payroll, prevailing wage projects, per diem, and other construction-specific payroll requirements. We're looking for someone who understands those details, knows how to work through discrepancies, and takes ownership of getting payroll right. What You'll Do Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees through ADP Workforce Now Review employee timecards from Procore and verify hours are coded correctly by job, cost code, phase, and labor classification Review overtime, bonuses, per diem, reimbursements, retroactive pay, deductions, and other payroll adjustments Process new hires, terminations, wage changes, direct deposit updates, and final paychecks Prepare and submit certified payroll and prevailing wage reports Partner with project teams to confirm labor classifications and project-specific payroll requirements Reconcile payroll between ADP and Vista by Viewpoint to support accurate labor costing and financial reporting Review payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and make corrections before payroll is finalized Manage garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, and other required deductions Support quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for reporting, compliance, and audits Respond to employee and manager questions about pay, taxes, deductions, direct deposit, and timekeeping Stay current on payroll requirements across the states where we operate and help identify opportunities to improve our payroll processes What We're Looking For At least 2 years of payroll administration experience Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now Strong understanding of payroll processes and attention to detail Experience processing multi-state payroll preferred Certified payroll and prevailing wage experience preferred Construction, industrial, or commercial industry experience is a plus Experience with Vista by Viewpoint is a plus Intermediate Excel skills Strong organization and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Clear, professional communication with employees, managers, and project teams Ability to handle sensitive employee and payroll information with discretion CPP certification is a plus Why Kinley At Kinley, this isn't a payroll role that operates in a silo.
