We're looking for a dynamic Payroll Specialist / Timekeeper to join our team in Austin!

Payroll Specialist Location:
Austin, TX Salary:
$55,000-63,000/yr
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, HR administration, or a similar field. Previous experience within the construction or staffing industry strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and handling high-volume employee data. Proficient in Excel, especially with formulas and pivot tables. Timerack and Avionte experience a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines. Must be comfortable being employee facing and sitting at a computer for prolonged periods of time. Core Responsibilities Review and verify clock-in and clock-out records for 200-300 employees on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify, investigate, and resolve any discrepancies or errors with employee timecards. Communicate directly with employees to clarify time entries, gather missing information, and facilitate timely corrections. Track daily contractor attendance and report headcount to supervisors multiple times a day. Analyze attendance trends and provide coaching to employees as needed/applicable. Why Choose SST?
