Payroll Specialist - Hybrid Hands of Heartland - 2.9 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $75,000 a year 11 hours ago Qualifications Productivity software Full Job Description Job Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining and reviewing payroll data for multiple companies, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Essential Duties & Responsibilities-Payroll Follow up with managers to ensure timecard approvals are completed Ensure accuracy of multi-state, multi-company payroll data Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll Answering employee questions Conduct/assist in training employees in using the timekeeping and payroll applications Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures Initiate off-cycle/manual payments timely Upload garnishment documents to payroll portal Preparing reports for management review Monitor quarterly and annual tax filings Assist with payroll projects as needed Education & Experience 3+ year payroll experience Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software ADP experience a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals Excellent time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task Attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills Physical Requirements Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and files. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
