This role includes front-line communication with employees and clients, issue resolution, and administrative support across multiple HR disciplines. The position also supports the Sales & Marketing team through outreach and coordination efforts. Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to employee and client inquiries
- Communicate professionally with employees and clients to resolve HR, payroll, and benefits-related issues
- Provide administrative support across HR, payroll, and operations functions
- Assist with oversight and coordination of the HR operations team workflows
- Support HR functions including onboarding, documentation, and employee records management
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping verification, and payroll inquiries
- Support employee benefits administration including enrollments and tracking
- Assist with workers' compensation claims tracking and documentation
- Support risk management processes and maintain compliance records
- Assist with multi-state compliance tracking and employment law documentation
- Support marketing efforts including outreach calls and appointment setting
- Coordinate with Sales team to schedule and prepare for client consultations
- Maintain CRM systems and track client and prospect interactions
- Provide general administrative support as needed across departments Qualifications
- 0-2 years of administrative, HR, payroll, or customer service experience
- Strong communication and phone skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Willingness to learn HR, payroll, and compliance processes
