Job Description

Experteer Overview As a Payroll Analyst you will support end-to-end US payroll and assist with monthly Canada payroll under the Payroll Manager. You'll use reports to audit data and ensure accuracy, while handling multi-state tax compliance and collaborating with Finance and Human Capital. You'll identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and uphold quality. This role combines detailed payroll execution with a focus on compliance and cross-functional service to the organization.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Support semi-monthly multi-state payroll administration and monthly Canadian payroll.
  • Maintain and audit employee records, including deductions.
  • Compare HR and Payroll data to identify inconsistencies; generate payroll and ad hoc reports.
  • Perform data-driven validations and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and quality.
  • Document compliance and processes with written procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. Tasks
  • 4+ years of payroll experience
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll tax requirements, including reciprocity and local jurisdictions
  • UKG Payroll and Workday experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business (preferred or equivalent) Key requirements
