Job Description

Job Overview An Electronics Quality Control (QC) Inspector ensures that electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices meet strict safety, performance, and reliability standards. They act as the final line of defense against defects and product malfunctions before items reach the consumer or assembly line.
Core Responsibilities Testing & Inspection:
Perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections on PCBs, and wire harnesses at various stages of production.
Equipment Operation:
Utilize testing and diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and X-ray imaging machines to verify component integrity.
Defect Identification:
Detect soldering issues, faulty connections, component damage, and potential counterfeits using high-magnification microscopes.
Documentation:
Log inspection data, maintain non-conformance reports, and generate certificates of compliance in accordance with ISO 9001 and other industry standards.
Process Improvement:
Highlight recurring defects to the production and QA teams and recommend adjustments to the assembly process.
Key Requirements & Skills Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of component-level electronics, datasheets, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. Attention to
Detail:
Exceptional visual acuity and logical, evidence-based evaluation skills to detect minute inconsistencies.
Tools:
Familiarity with precision measurement tools and electronic testing software.
Work Environment:
Comfortable working in professional, climate-controlled, and ESD-safe (Electrostatic Discharge) laboratory or manufacturing environments.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or technical certification is typically required; an associate degree in electronics or a related technical field is preferred.

IPC Certification a plus
Work Location:
On-Site Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
