Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist on a contract basis, to support payroll processing for a multi-state company. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of payroll regulations, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working in high-volume payroll environments.
ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payrollEnsure payroll accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulationsReview timekeeping records and payroll adjustmentsMaintain employee payroll records and tax documentationProcess garnishments, deductions, and benefit withholdingsRespond to payroll-related inquiriesAssist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 preparation
