Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, college hours preferred. Experience with Enterprise ERP and TimeClock Plus (TCP) Ability to work within deadlines and handle frequent interruptions Ability to multitask Good analytical problem-solving skills General understanding of payroll and accounting terminology and procedures Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Expertise in the following: calculator, personal computer, Microsoft Excel Detail oriented Work with confidential material
Primary Purpose:
Primarily responsible for managing the TimeClock Plus (TCP) system in relation to the Payroll Department, as well as coordinating with other software systems (Enterprise ERP) to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountable for developing and implementing TimeClock Plus (TCP) payroll processes and enhancements for the Payroll Department and TimeClock Plus (TCP) managers. Serve as the liaison between TimeClock Plus/Technology for all Payroll department TimeClock Plus (TCP)-related functions. Address and resolve all TimeClock Plus (TCP) conversion and enhancement issues. Accountable for managing TimeClock Plus (TCP) manager communications and training. Close TimeClock Plus weeks before processing payroll, including identifying exceptions and notifying campuses/departments of any errors. Responsible for processing absences and substitutes including, but not limited to: Payroll export Correct errors to ensure accuracy. Execute the process to verify that all absences and substitutes have been recorded. Validate and make any necessary changes to absences. Execute the electronic process for the comp time file. Generate the comp time earned export. Manually import calculated earned comp time and straight time to ensure the time displayed in TimeClock Plus (TCP) is accessible to employees. Assist coworkers with other TimeClock Plus (TCP) related payroll duties. Other duties as assigned.

Personal computer, printer, scanner, copier, calculator, fax machine, and check sealer.

Position is considered essential to
KATY ISD
operations. Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions. Occasional prolonged and/or irregular hours. Heavy volume of telephone calls.
