We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join our team in Killeen, TX. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) payroll platform and a solid understanding of payroll processing, compliance, and recordkeeping. This role is essential to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time, every time. Key Responsibilities Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using UKG (UKG Pro / UKG Ready / Kronos) Enter and audit timekeeping data, including overtime, PTO, and leave adjustments Verify and reconcile payroll data prior to each pay run Process new hire, termination, and pay change entries within the payroll system Calculate and process garnishments, deductions, and benefit contributions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings Generate payroll reports for management and assist with audits Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 processing Qualifications 1-3+ years of payroll processing experience required Direct experience with the UKG payroll platform is required (UKG Pro, UKG Ready, or UKG Workforce Central/Kronos) Strong understanding of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and tax compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred FPC or CPP certification a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay/salary (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive, team-oriented work environment How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter detailing their UKG payroll experience.
