Payroll Specialist Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to managing and processing payroll for a diverse workforce. Responsibilities Manage and process daily manual payroll calculations. Handle corporate payroll adjustments on a weekly basis. Process payroll for at least 300 employees each week. Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations, deductions, and garnishments. Reconcile payroll discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Essential Skills Proven experience in payroll and payroll processing. Familiarity with bi-monthly and weekly payroll cycles. Experience with payroll tax, deductions, and garnishments. Ability to reconcile payroll for at least 300 employees weekly. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions. Experience with multi-local payroll processing. Work Environment The team consists of two payroll managers, each specializing in union and nonunion payrolls, respectively. You will be part of a team of 8 to 10 individuals. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
