Description Adecco is seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist in Plano Texas for a 3-4-month contract. 3 days in office or as needed. Apply today! Pay rate $22.00 - 32.00 (based on experience) Manages all payroll tax compliance, reporting, and filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. This role ensures accurate tax calculations, timely submissions, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage payroll tax processes, including calculations, withholdings, remittances, and reconciliations. Prepare and file quarterly, annual, and other required payroll tax returns. Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. • Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, notices, and employee inquiries. Maintain accurate payroll tax records and support internal and external audits. Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data and reporting. Stay current on tax law changes and recommend process improvements or tax-saving strategies. Support accurate and timely payroll processing, including updates for hires, terminations, and pay changes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of payroll processing and payroll tax experience. Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulatory requirements. Experience with ERP payroll systems (SAP, Oracle, ADP, Workday, Ceridian (Dayforce)). Proficient in Office 365, especially Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver high-quality results. • Commitment to excellent client service and accuracy.
