Timekeeper Octagon Consulting, LLC - 2.4 Texas City, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $23 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications TWIC Card Outdoor work experience Spreadsheets Administrative experience Construction site experience Attention to detail Problem-solving Time & attendance systems Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Timekeeper to support operations at our client worksite in Texas City. This position is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and accurately entering employee time while working closely with supervisors, payroll, and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and review daily employee time records. Enter regular hours, overtime, absences, and other timekeeping information accurately. Verify employee hours against schedules, sign-in sheets, and supervisor approvals. Identify missing punches, incorrect hours, and other timekeeping discrepancies. Communicate with supervisors and employees to resolve timecard issues. Maintain accurate attendance and timekeeping records. Prepare daily and weekly labor-hour reports. Submit approved time records by established payroll deadlines. Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and payroll information. Follow all plant safety, security, and access requirements. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Valid and active TWIC card. Previous experience working in an outdoor plant, refinery, chemical facility, construction site, or similar industrial environment. Previous timekeeping, payroll, administrative, or data-entry experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with deadlines and manage a high volume of time records. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and electronic timekeeping systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work the required schedule of four 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift each week. Ability to work outdoors and move throughout an active industrial plant environment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience processing time for construction, maintenance, turnaround, or industrial employees. Familiarity with overtime, shift differentials, per diem, and attendance tracking. Experience working with payroll or workforce-management software.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 48.0 per week
