Job Description
JAMAK employees work hard to server our clients and ensure the growth of our business. A Payroll Administrator makes sure that all staff receive on-time paychecks processed correctly. This process is achieved by auditing and verifying all time keeping records for employees' hours worked as well as any deductions or withholdings required to comply with state and federal laws. Job Responsibilities Report to work on time as scheduled and ready to work. Verify timekeeping records and consult with supervisors or employees about any discrepancies. Process PIP's in the ADP Change employees direct deposit banking information when necessary. Manage deductions for benefits and garnishment orders. Prepare and submit direct deposit payments with the bank. Maintain and document all payroll records. Respond to employee and management questions regarding paychecks, tax forms, and other payroll related items. Process payroll on weekly cycles for two companies. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience Associate or bachelor's degree preferable High attention to detail, strict data confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and time management skills. Have excellent follow up skills, with the ability to see tasks through to successful conclusion. Proficiency in Microsoft application skills (Word and Excel) Experience in ADP payroll system a plus
