Payroll Support Specialist Dollar Tree - 3.2 Chesapeake, VA Job Details Full-time $19.50 - $21.50 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee stock purchase plan Paid holidays Disability insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Workflow management (operations management method) Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Data entry Typing Productivity software Full Job Description As a Member of the Payroll team that will ensure timely processing incoming mail directed to the Payroll Department via USPS, facsimile and electronically via corporate registered agent portal with both speed and accuracy; specifically, accurately identify the associate for whom the incoming correspondence is received, code and distribute accordingly. Scanning duties will ensure timely preparation, scanning and indexing of documents relative to the Payroll Department. Email box duties will ensure timely responses to inbound emails in several payroll email boxes. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Processes incoming correspondence from multiple sources - USPS, facsimile and corporate registered agent portal Performs work with sense of urgency and processing accuracy Comply with established coding and filing processes of the department Prepares and mails termination letters Back up for processing student loan withholding orders Prepare, scan and index Garnishment Orders and associated correspondence Prepare, scan and index bi-weekly payroll processing documents Prepare, scan and index other documents as needed Reviews inbound emails to the Paystub email box, resets passwords for Doculivery Paystub accounts and provides responses in a timely fashion during W-2 peak season Responsible for adhering to internal controls, including SOX compliance Interest in learning new skills and platforms as needed for new projects Ability to partner effectively with team members and business partners Assist the Garnishment Supervisor and Payroll Director with special projects Must handle confidential information discreetly Other duties as required by management Preferred Experience Previous payroll, garnishment, document imaging/indexing, or high-volume administrative processing experience preferred. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of administrative, payroll, data entry, document processing, or related work experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong work ethic and team player Must be proficient and accurate - typing speed above average Must have effective written and verbal communication skills Must be able to efficiently manage high volume workflows Workday HCM and/or Workday Payroll experience are strongly preferred. Start Rate = $19.50 - $21.50 per hour based on experience.
