Uperio US is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to work out of our Manassas, VA location and to own and execute payroll processing across our entire company. This role is responsible for employee onboarding & accurate end-to-end payroll, maintaining compliance, and supporting employees with payroll-related matters. The ideal candidate brings 3-4 years of payroll experience, is comfortable operating in a multi-entity environment, and has hands-on experience with Paylocity a MUST.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities Onboard all new employees via Paylocity Process end-to-end payroll for multi-state employees across multiple business units Ensure accuracy of wages, commissions, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings Maintain and audit payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes Manage payroll within Paylocity and maintain system data integrity Reconcile payroll reports and support general ledger payroll tie-outs Coordinate payroll tax filings and ensure federal, state, and local compliance Required Qualifications 3-4 years of hands-on on-boarding & payroll processing experience ( at least 2 of those years must have been with Paylocity ) Proven experience running payroll independently Strong working knowledge of payroll tax and wage-hour compliance Experience in processing multi-state payroll Advanced Excel and payroll reporting skills High accuracy, discretion, and data integrity standards Strong organization and deadline management skills Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan options Paid time off and holidays Compensation range: $25/hourly to $29/hourly ( depending on experience ).
